March Madness

Yesterday I was volunteering at Eva’s school in the morning and I again got to witness my daughter’s intelligence and attention to detail first hand. Aimee and I have noticed her ability to notice things before. One time Aimee and I decided to have a romantic evening and have some wine and cheese, but the next morning the first thing Eva said was, “Hey there is a bottle of wine missing.” I just hope we notice those types of details when she is old enough to want to drink. Anyway, yesterday at school the teacher was reading the class books about the planet Saturn. The teacher finished the first book and started a second book. In the second book the teacher read that Saturn has 30 moons. The teacher then said that the first book said 17 moons and this one said 30. The teacher was not trying to start a debate she was just trying to point out that both numbers were high. Saturn has a lot of moons. Eva however immediately raised her hand. The teacher called on her and Eva said, “Mrs. Fresquez, the first book said that Saturn had more than 17 moons. (with heavy emphasis on the word more)” It was all I could do not to laugh out loud. Hopefully she will maintain this knack for detail and the truth. We could all use a little more of that in today’s society.
Here are some pictures of Grant’s latest haircut. Performed at Eva’s beauty shop.

He is still cute as a button. Maybe we will let her cut Uncle Cody's hair when she comes home. He can always use a hair cut.
Lots of love to ya
