Happy New Year!

Happy New Year!! We here in Santa Fe rang in the New Year in our beds. Adding that 2 hours and 1 second on to the year was just too much to handle for us old folks. Aimee was not feeling well anyway. She spent most of the day dealing with nausea.

The first Birthday Party was a little early because we wanted to have it while Gammy and Granddad were here.

When Grant opened some presents from Memaw and Pepaw he yelled-"JOHN DEERE" and then when it was opened he realized he now had a Gator just like Pepaw.

This is the famous "Soul Train" fire truck. For those of you that remember the soul train used to chug back and forth on the tracks going from right to left. This fire truck is in the middle of a right and downward bend.

But as you can tell Grant loved it. It may not have looked the best, but it tasted great.
