Last of the Christmas Loot

Well I think this is the last of the Christmas presents. The laid back attitude of everyone in Santa Fe has prolonged Christmas for us much to the dismay of my stepmother. Seeing as she paid extra to have her packages delivered before Christmas and they arrived on the 29th. Sorry Peg, but here are the photos of our 3rd Christmas morning.


To be equal opportunity torturers, we now have a toy to torture the dog. Grant loves running this remote control car into the dog over and over. He also likes hitting his sister but she is smart enough to leave the room.

Eva was very excited about her laptop. She spent an hour doing addition and spelling. I was scolded by her when she was spelling words and I distracted her and she did not get to see the picture of what she was supposed to spell.


This is my favorite picture. Grant in these goggles is hilarious.




Just so everyone knows, Eva also got a bead kit she loved and the game Operation. We had to play that right away and I had to use all my considerable skills to pull out the victory on my last card. Thank goodness it was the charlie horse and not the broken heart or Daddy would have been in big trouble.

Eva also got a controller that hooks up to the TV to play Disney video games. She told Pappy "Mommy said she is not allowed to play video games and that Mommy wanted her to tell Pappy not to buy her anymore." You can imagine Mommy's surprise to hear this. Even though we were debating as to whether we wanted her to have a video game, we never had any of these discussions in front of Eva. I guess kids are very perceptive and can make their parents feel like real heels.

Christmas presents are now finished, thank you to everyone. The next entries will be Grant's Birthdays. Wait until you see the "Soul Train" fire truck cake.
