In Her Own Words

Eva has had to do investigations every Monday this year. The teacher gives the students topics and they have to find 3 to 4 facts about the topic and read them to the class. I guess the teacher has been harping on using their own words and not copying the words verbatim. So here is an excerpt from Eva's most recent report.

The report was on the White House.

Actual fact read-At various times in history, the White House has been known as the "President's Palace," the "President's House," and the "Executive Mansion." President Theodore Roosevelt officially gave the White House its current name in 1901.

Eva's version- Before the White House had that name it was called stuff like President's Palace, the President's House, and the Boss' Mansion. President Theodore Roosevelt gave it the final name the White House.

I just had to share the Boss' Mansion with everyone.

Have a great day.
